Tim Hoosier

October 12, 1962 — January 1, 2021

Tim J. Hoosier, 58, of Golden, passed away at 6:21 am, on Friday, January 1, 2021 at his home.  He was born on Friday, October 12, 1962 in Port Hueneme, California, a son of Jerry and Pat (Cooper) Hoosier.

He married Lynda Bienhoff on December 31, 1999, at Trinity Lutheran Church, in Golden, Illinois.  She survives.

In addition to his wife, survivors include his stepdaughter Lindsay (Matt) Bunch of Golden and stepson Brandon (Jaci) Cornell of Quincy; grandchild Matthew (Hoosier) Bunch of Golden; brother J.D. (Kip) Hoosier of Camp Point; sister Debra (Dan) Bush of Hannibal, MO and many nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Vicki Hoosier.

Tim was a 1980 graduate of Central High School in Camp Point.  He was as a skilled mechanic at Turner Brothers Garage, in Quincy, for over thirty-seven years.  Where he was very dedicated to his work with the railroad. Most of all, he treasured the time spent with family.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am, Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at the Hunter Funeral Home in Golden.  Interment will follow in Golden Memorial Gardens.  Visitation will be held on Tuesday evening from 4:00 until 7:00 pm at the Hunter Funeral Home in Golden.  Memorials are suggested to the Matthew (Hoosier) Bunch Education Fund.  Please write checks payable to the family.
