Shirley Rieman

COLUMBUS, Ill. -- Shirley Mae Rieman, 67, of Columbus, formerly of Golden, died at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday (June 16, 2009) in Blessing Hospital in Quincy. Shirley was born on Feb. 12, 1942, in Golden to John and Erna Bruns. She married Robert Lee Rieman on May 5, 1973. Shirley enjoyed camping, going to wineries, playing gin rummy and especially her family. Surviving are her husband Robert Lee Rieman of Columbus; one son, David Janssen of Quincy; three stepchildren, Robert A. Rieman of Sumner, Randy J. Rieman and his wife, Kim, of Dillon, Mont., and Karen L. Wellman and her husband, Steve, of Quincy; stepgrandchildren, Shawn, Sherry, Jason, Lori, Angela, John and Michael; eight stepgreat-grandchildren; and two sisters, Betty Welty of Golden and June Bramlett of Quincy. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother-in-law, Ray Welty. SERVICES: 10 a.m. Saturday in the Hunter Funeral Home in Golden with Randy J. Rieman conducting. Burial will be in the Golden Memorial Gardens in Golden. VISITATION: 5 to 7 p.m. Friday in the Hunter Funeral Home in Golden.
