Robert A Rexroat

Robert A. Rexroat, age 74, of Rushville, passed away on Tuesday, April 25, 2023, at HSHS Good Shepherd Hospital in Shelbyville, Illinois. 

He was born in Rushville, Illinois on July 4, 1948 a son of Max and Melba (Todd) Rexroat. 

Robert attended Rushville High School and Western Illinois University. He went on to serve his country in the United States Army.

He married Diane Emerick and later, was married to Mary Alice Downs.

He is survived by his sons, Scott Rexroat and Mark Rexroat both of Rushville, Illinois; his grandchildren, Grant, Ethan, Emery, and Isaac Rexroat; a brother Ronnie Rexroat of Macomb, Illinois; nieces, Kim Smith of Macomb, Illinois, and Darcy Holmer of Hilton Head, North Carolina. 

Robert was preceded in death by his parents.

There will be a Celebration of Life for Robert held at a later date.

Memorials in Robert's name are suggested to the Schuyler Veterans Homes.
