Larry "Hub" Harris

Larry E. “Hub” Harris, 80, of Quincy, passed away at 7:09 AM, Saturday, May 8, 2021, at Good Samaritan Home in Quincy.

He was born on January 12, 1941, in Loraine, the son of Floyd and Hattie (Clark) Harris.

Hub began his career at Electric Wheel while still in his teens and retired from Titan after 41 years of service.  After retirement, he worked in the maintenance department at Good Samaritan Home.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, woodworking and collecting guns.  He was a former member of the Ursa Lions Club.

Surviving are two sons Michael (Mary) Harris of Liberty and Howard Harris of Quincy, his life partner Helen Williams and her daughters Cindy, Jonna, and Lonna, five grandchildren Jamie, Jason, Sarah, Matthew and Kendra, 12 great grandchildren with one on the way, one nephew and two nieces.  He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters Reva Davis and Wilda Curry.

Larry will be cremated and no services are planned.  Memorials are suggested to the Good Samaritan Home.
