Frances A. Leerhoff, 72, of Quincy, passed away Thursday (June 12, 2014) in Blessing Hospital.

She was born Jan. 23, 1942, in Quincy, a daughter of the late Charles and Leona (Smith) Luker. She married Donald Wayne Leerhoff on June 5, 1981, in Wellsville. He passed away March 12, 2006.

Frances was a member of the South Side Boat Club in Quincy. She was an avid reader of Western books and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

Surviving are two children, Kim (Mark) Doellman of Murphysboro and Annette (David) Jaynes of Murphysboro; three stepchildren, Glenn (Diana) Leerhoff of Clark, Mo., Janet (Greg) Hagan of Kansas City, Mo., and Gary (Peggy) Leerhoff of Clark; three grandchildren, Ryan Doellman, Paige Jaynes and Allison Jaynes; five stepgrandchildren, Neil Leerhoff, Melissa Stokes, Brandon Hagan, Elaine Sharp and Evan Leerhoff; five stepgreat-grandchildren; one brother, Larry (Wanda) Luker of Quincy; and several nieces and nephews.

SERVICES: Noon Monday, June 16, in the Hunter Funeral Home, Mendon. Interment will be in Quincy Memorial Park.

VISITATION: 10 a.m. to noon Monday in the funeral home.

MEMORIALS: In lieu of flowers, the Blessing Foundation.

ARRANGEMENTS: Hunter Funeral Home.
